about me
I’m a dog-mom to Maisie and Miley (pictured left), caretaker of over 40 plant species, and for the past year, have spent a few hours each week this past year at Anderson P.A.W.S. working social media magic to find shelter dogs homes. I love consuming books, volunteering, and learning new skills every day. My latest pursuits (PSA: not my best work) are learning cross stitch and watercolor painting.
On top of graduate school and my assistantship in the Department of Industrial Engineering, I work as web content writer at CCP Web Design in Charlotte and I tutor children (specializing with those who have learning disabilities) online and in-person.
​I am actively seeking a role in user experience research and design, or content strategy. I love that UX allows me to be creative and smart; my experience in the field so far has ultimately broadened my abilities as a writer, designer, and researcher. I enjoy working with subject matter experts to translate complex material, mediating between clients and users, and ultimately serving as an empathetic user-advocate. I’m eager to learn and continue to design meaningful, accessible, and engaging digital experiences.
